Keeping Faith & Un Bore Mercher to return for a third and final series
Audiences can look forward to another thrilling series with Eve Myles set to return as Faith Howells, Bradley Freegard as Evan Howells and Mark Lewis Jones as Steve Baldini. Olivier award-winning Celia Imrie (Victoria Wood as Seen on TV, Dinnerladies, Best Exotic Marrigold Hotel) will be joining the cast.
Series one and two of Keeping Faith have been hugely successful on BBC iPlayer with over 33 million requests to date, and iPlayer making up almost half of all viewing to the series. The viewing figures of the first and second series of Un Bore Mercher were amongst the highest for S4C drama since 2010.
A record breaker on BBC iPlayer, it has a passionate following and is characteristic of the high quality drama being produced in Wales right now and enjoyed by people across the UK.
Keeping Faith/Un Bore Mercher was originally developed by S4C. Produced for BBC Wales and S4C by Vox Pictures, in association with APC and Nevision, with support from Welsh Business Finance. Directed by Pip Broughton and Judith Dine, written by Matthew Hall and Pip Broughton, produced by Pip Broughton and Llyr Morus, filming will begin in 2020. The series is expected to air on S4C in October 2020 and on BBC One Wales February 2021 and will be available across the UK exclusively on BBC iPlayer.
