About Eve Myles/Filmography

 

Eve was born in a town called Ystradgynlais in Wales and attended  Ysgol Maes Y Dderwen school.

Eve studied acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts. After several small roles such as Tales from Pleasure Beach, 2003 and television drama Colditz later that year she began portraying Ceri Lewis in the Welsh language drama series " Belonging ". the series ended in 2009.

In 2005 she appeared as a maid / servant who died to save the world in an episode of Doctor Who  and so impressed by her the writer Russell T. Davies cast her as the female lead in the spin-off series Torchwood (2006). he wrote  the role of Gwen Cooper in  Torchwood especially for her,  According to Russell T. Davies "Eve is Wales best kept secret "

Eve acted with the National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company and in 2005 a paper called The Western Mail voted her the seventh most sexy Welsh female celebrity. Along with Freema Agyeman, John Barrowman, Naoko Mori and Gareth David-Lloyd, she is one of only five actors to play the same character (Gwen Cooper) in both Doctor Who (2005) and Torchwood (2006). 

Eve gave birth to her 1st child at age 31, a daughter Matilda Myles Freegard on November 10, 2009.

On May 18, 2013 she married her boyfriend of 14 years Bradley Freegard. in Italy

Eve Gave birth to their 2nd child at age 35, another daughter and named her Siena Myles Freegard on February 12, 2014.
