Eve Myles has ditched her usual glamorous look to star in Victoria :~The new ITV series Victoria, starring Eve plays Mrs Jenkins, the Queen's dresser, and she admits she was desperate to star in a period drama - not just for her own acting ambition, but so she could help learn about the era to help daughter Matilda with a school project. will begin at 9pm on Sunday 28th August 2016!Eve said: "I had wanted to get back into doing period drama for a long time and after doing Broadchurch it was really nice to do something historical.

"Plus my daughter, Matilda, is going to be studying Queen Victoria next year at school so I thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about it myself!
