Broadchurch’s Eve Myles, 'Claire Might Not Make It To The End Of The Series'
Eve Myles, plays the suspicious Claire Ripley, has said that the series two finale will more than satisfy fans, adding that the ending sent her reeling. “I was completely and utterly speechless by it, it’s truly fantastic and packed. It’ll be a night to remember, I think when that comes out,” The Welsh actress, who joined the series this year as the intriguing suspect of the Sandbrook murder case, explained that the cast all had their theories about how the hit ITV crime drama would finish.“We’ve all made up our own stories of who’s who and what going to happen and who did what and of course we were all wrong,” she said.Although she knows what’s in the scripts, she has admitted that she is not sure about how it will be pieced together, meaning the ending could be more jaw-dropping than she imagined. also speaking in defence of the “Boredchurch” backlash. “With everything, especially everything that I’ve done, where you go into a second series, you always expect people to turn against it because sometimes they don’t like change,” she said. “Sometimes they don’t get what they expect and sometimes they just like to hit something that’s very successful and try to bring it down.”With two episodes left, things are now hotting up in the seaside town. Broadchurch is on ITV tonight at 9pm.
